The International Independent Martial Arts Association, Master Geofert, has informed Dr. McCoy that he is this years recipient of the Golden Life Award for 2010
Outstanding Buisness Achievement Award

Dr. Jim Thomas of the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame has informed Dr. McCoy that he has been nominated for 2010 Outstanding Buisness Achievement Award for having taught over 4,000 students since 1972!!
The Six Tenets of a True Martial Art

Inside Kung fu Magazine has informed us that the fourth article, The Six Tenets of a True Martial Art, that was scheduled for print in October of 2009 and was delayed, should go to print for the February (month), April (cover issue)!

Sifu McCoy has been asked to attend the USA Hall of Fame Awards dinner held in Newark NJ in February to accept awards from the; Hall of Fame, Hall of Honor, USA National Martial Arts Team, and the Alliance.
IIMAA Seminar

Sifu McCoy is considering an offer to attend and instruct a three hour seminar in Orlando Fl. for the International Independant Martial Arts Associations world gathering held in July.
Sparring II

Sparring II, also caled the 7 Opponents, will continue where Sparring I left off. Sparring II will center in on the 7 types of opponents that one can encounter in a self defense situation. All 7 types will be taught, and the counters that will neutralize their attacks. Sparring gear will be needed for this course; ordering information has been sent to each student through your PDF Newsletter. This course will start in late February; cost is $45.00.
Three new articles for Inside Kung fu Magazine

The Editor of Inside Kung fu Magazine, Mr. Dave Carter, has asked Dr. McCoy for three more new articles. Dr. McCoy wil be writting articles on The 7 Opponents and how to counter them, San Sing Three Star Hit Two Man Form, and the Kai Kung Shou Aggressive Hands. Most of the articles written for Inside Kung fu are unique to the system of Northern Dragon style kung fu and contain information compiled from the begining of its history in the 1300's.
Dr. McCoy awarded Leader of Systems

Dr. McCoy has been awared a position with the I.I.M.A.A. as a Leader of Systems in the art and system of Lung Jop Pai® kung fu. Dr. McCoy is also being evaluated for a position as New Jersey and PA State Repersentetive.
13 Points, Circular Knife Defense

Sifu McCoy was notified by the Editor of Inside Kung fu magazine that the third article he wrote for the magazine will be out in the next issue. Sifu McCoy was also notified by CEO of In The News that he has received the article and it has been placed into plaque form and will be delived at the school whithin a few days!

Dr. Rex W. McCoy has been awarded the 2009 USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame Award for "Master of the Year Kung fu". He was personally called by Dr. Jim Thomas and congratulatted for winning this award.
Inside Kung fu Article

Dr. Rex W. McCoy has been asked by the Editor of Inside Kung fu Magazine to write his 4th article for an upcoming print. He will be writting an article on The Six Tenets of a True Martial Art, which will list what a real martial art should contain!

Life Time Member of the Alliance

Dr. Rex W. McCoy has been accepted as a life time member of the Alliance. The Alliance is a world wide martial arts association which brings together martial artists from different styles from all over the world of Master level and above.
Doctorial Thesis

Sifu McCoy has been asked to submit a doctorial thesis for consideration of an accredited Doctorate from a University. The Asian College of Martial Arts curriculum is being considered for acceptance into a University setting and all Doctorate inductees have been asked to submit a Thesis for review.

Sifu McCoy was personally asked by Editor Dave Carter to submit three article to Inside Kung fu Magazine, the worlds leading magazine for Chinese kung fu systems, customs, and history. Sifu will present an article on Straight Line Knife Defense, Circular Knife Defense and an article on Two Man Staff!!
2008 World Martial Arts Magazine Award

Sifu McCoy was inducted into the 2008 World Martial Arts Magazine Hall of Fame on recomendation of the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame after receiving an award for the Golden Life Award for numerous years of involvement in Dragon style kung fu.

Sifu McCoy awarded Doctorate

Sifu McCoy has been awarded an honorary Doctorate Ph.D/D.Sc./Ma.Sc. from the University of Asian Martial Arts Studies. This is an international organization without "walls". Numerous Grandmasters from around the world evaluate and research area martial artists for induction into Doctorate degrees based on time involved in martial arts, an extensive bio search question and answer, acomplishments acheived in the arts and witness reqonition. The process started in August 2007 and was completed in May 2008.
